The award comes from leading a successful expansion and enhancing the program’s structure to provide more opportunities for resident growth, social integration and independence. The innovative, open access structure allows social integration within a wider range of experiences from internal restaurant style dining to concerts and trips outside the community. There are a variety of social and therapeutic groups in which to participate. The program expansion includes 1 & 2 bedroom apartments & numerous common areas to enjoy social engagement. Independence is encouraged to access the nearby public library and other community venues.
