Landscape Urban Designer
Dec 2023 — Present · Dallas, TX, US
As an Urban and Landscape Designer at MESA, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of impactful projects across Texas—blending community vision with design that truly serves people. One of the most defining parts of my journey has been my involvement with the City of Frisco. I’ve played a key role in the Railway District – 4th Street Plaza, a transformative public space currently under construction and set to open in 2026. From developing construction drawings and bid documents to now leading construction administration (CACO), this project has pushed me to grow both technically and professionally giving me hands-on experience with construction processes, on-site coordination, and the real-world challenges of implementation.I also led the Frisco Garage Project, guiding it from concept design to ongoing construction management. These Frisco projects have not only sharpened my leadership skills but deepened my understanding of how thoughtful public spaces can shape a city\'s identity.Beyond Frisco, my work focuses heavily on community-based developments across Texas. I’ve contributed to projects like Haven Ranch in Waxahachie, Rivina in Georgetown, and Mirador in Austin designing amenity centers, parks, and open spaces that enhance livability and create a sense of place. Each project has allowed me to engage with different phases of the design process, from master planning to bid documentation and construction coordination.Another key experience has been designing a city park where I led research on native planting strategies, species selection, and compliance with local ordinances while also exploring how public engagement can inform better, more inclusive design outcomes.I’m especially proud to be part of the Furst Ranch Parks and Open Spaces project a multidisciplinary effort blending residential, commercial, and institutional development where I help shape the open space framework for a future-forward community.
