As the TechHire Education and Employment Coach I am responsible for promoting a positive and successful learning experience for students in an effort to increase student retention, success and completion in the programs, Computer Information Technology, Engineering Technology and Industrial Technology. I also provide information on application, registration and assessment process and present a comprehensive information session for the TechHire program aimed at motivating and engaging new participants. Along with assisting students with enhancing their experience, navigating external factors, making a plan for academic pathway, making forward progress with certificate and or degree. In addition, I make sure students understand the campus process and being an effective student while providing continuous communication and follow-up to maximize retention and completion from our programs at North Central Texas College.
