Cheryl Strauss Einhorn is the founder of Decisive, creator of the AREA method, and a long-time educator at Cornell University and Columbia Business School. As the founder of Decisive, the decision sciences and leadership development company, Cheryl developed the AREA method, a decision-making system for individuals, companies, and nonprofits to solve complex problems. Today, the AREA method is used in broad domains, ranging from high schools to multinational companies, to government agencies, and universities. She also has LinkedIn LearningIn courses including Strengthening Your Decision-Making With Generative AI and Tips For Better Collaborative Decision-Making. She is the author of four books on decision-making. The most recent book is about Artificial Intelligence, The Human Edge: Smarter Decisions in the Age of AI.
