ABOUT CHERYL WILLIAMS CESRE CERER

I have a vast experience in Financial Services spanning over 20 years where I have undertaken various roles in the banking sector including Branch Management, Financial Advisor, Regional Sales and Risk management specialsing in supervision and managing risk within the banks T&C framework, coaching and developing advisors skills on both quality and performance measures and divisional mentor for advice quality.Whilst at Nationwide Building Society I lead the Customer Outcomes 1st line Controls team from pilot to key control function where I undertook the operational and 2nd line management and supervision within this department. Whilst attending the society’s Future Leadership Programme I gained promotion to Senior Operations Manager for their fast paced telephone mortgage sales department driving quality and customer centric mortgage advice whilst leading, motivating and influencing a team of regulated Area Managers. I thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment consistently delivering against all objectives. I currently hold Level 4 DipFA, CeMAP, CeSRE and CeRER
