As a People and Culture Manager at Southwire, one of the largest wire and cable manufacturers in North America, I have over 11 years of experience in human resources management. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee engagement, development, and retention. I have a master\'s degree in human resources management and a certification in strategic human resources from LinkedIn.In my current role, I lead and implement various initiatives and programs that align with the company\'s mission, vision, and values. I work closely with management to determine staffing requirements, provide human resources advice and consultation to employees and managers, and oversee the recording and maintenance of employee information. I also implement, disseminate, and monitor company policies, programs, and procedures in the areas of training, compensation, compliance, and benefits. Some of the achievements that I am proud of include reducing employee turnover by 15%, increasing employee satisfaction by 20%, and launching a mentorship program that supports career growth and diversity. I leverage my skills in employee benefits, employee turnover, and SHRM to enable and facilitate these outcomes.
