The knowledge I\'ve acquired while obtaining my Master of Education Degree from the University of Virginia, in K-12 Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision, and my years of experience as a Program Coordinator, and veteran teacher assist me as I currently serve as the Language Arts Lead Teacher for the department and also active on the Language Arts Vertical team for the county of Albemarle. Integrating cutting-edge technology with Language Arts through LifeLongLearning Skills is a daily goal. I interned at both Burley Middle School and Monticello High School. Actively served on the committee to open the Monticello High School. Was Ninth Grade Intervention Program Coordinator at Monticello High School. Created and initiated Project Reach, a math and reading remedial program, at Burley Middle School, for At-Risk sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Was on a team of three to create and initiate Shark Time, an after school tutoring program for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students who were At-Risk at Sutherland Middle School. Was Summer School Principal serving sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students, teachers, parents, and community of Sutherland Middle School. Serving on the School Improvement Team, Framework of Quality Learning Leadership Team, and Teacher Advisory Committee, which is resourceful regarding the accomplishments and successes of all of the students and teacher\'s achievement and well-being. Newsletter editing and campus beautification are what I sponsor throughout the year with the students, teachers, administration, and community. Taught sixth and seventh grade students Language Arts. Was sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Gifted and At-Risk Coordinator of Programs. Taught ninth grade students Earth Science and English, and twelfth grade students Psychology.
