Data creates value when the business trusts the data and IT can deliver the data; I help organizations figure out what it takes to make both true.My work focuses on increasing staff data capacity through practical data governance, privacy-aware data practices, and shared ownership of data between business and IT. I help organizations move from ad-hoc data use to structured, trusted, and value-driven approaches that support decision-making, planning, and accountability.A large part of my work is change management: helping people understand why data practices matter, how they affect daily work, and how to participate in governance in a way that feels useful rather than burdensome. Sustainable governance depends as much on people as on policy.With a background in process improvement, project delivery, and enterprise change, I design governance and data practices that are realistic and adoptable. My approach emphasizes enablement over control and value creation over compliance alone.I hold an MBA and an MA in Digital Humanities. My graduate research in digital health examined how human data is represented and responsibly managed in databases. That work continues to shape how I think about data stewardship, privacy, and the real-world consequences of data decisions. I work at the intersection of policy, operations, and technology, particularly in complex public-sector environments where trust, privacy, and risk management matter.I’m motivated by building internal capability — leaving organizations better able to manage and use their data long after a project ends.
