I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience and a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. My background involves academia and research, serving as an independent medical expert, and having clinical expertise in neuropsychopharmacology specializing in the treatment of traumatic stress, women\'s health, obsessive compulsive disorder, autism spectrum, and working with patients with comorbid neurological conditions. I have been published in peer-reviewed articles, invited contributions, and book chapters in the areas of obsessive compulsive and autism spectrum disorders and traumatic stress. I was awarded the VA Research Career Development Award in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and have experience in pharmacological treatment research serving as PI, Co-PI, and Co-investigator on clinical trials as well.
