   Manage product development process from concept through introduction, on time & within budget. Set pricing strategy. Create & maintain production calendar. Identify themes, trends, & opportunities to develop new categories, products & line extensions for strategic channels. Conduct market research through retailer visits, trade publications & internet monitoring. Research competitive landscape to identify key price points, product features & benefits. Act as Primary Contact/Liaison for all external resources (vendors) & internal resources (Executive Management, Sales, Creative, Warehouse, Inventory, Customer Service, Marketing), as it relates to assigned product categories & brands. Oversee all product vendors. Source all products, provide clear design direction, negotiate pricing, ascertain quality/compliance, review samples & ensure timely delivery. Work closely with Sales Team to create customer strategy, review new programs, update assortments, set customer pricing, develop sales presentations & analyze sales data. Collaborate with Creative Team (graphic designers) to set overall creative tone, communicate product design & brainstorm new product concepts. Provide support to Warehouse, Inventory & Customer Service Teams by resolving packaging errors, solving QC holds, facilitating reworks, communicating production timelines & ship dates, updating cost changes, reviewing chargebacks, assisting with customer requests/questions, & notification of discontinued items. Recommend promotional programs & brand communications to Marketing Team. Review product catalogs. Analyze sales results for monthly business reviews, presenting to Executive Management. Assist with setting of all brand financial goals and strategy. Develop all product data for Product Fact Sheets. Manage and input data into product line lists, including but not limited to item numbers, descriptions, components, freight estimates, duty rates, FOB prices, MSRP and net pricing.
