Schoolhouse Kitchen + Studio is a cooking school for kids and their families. We offer thoughtful programming that teaches skills that inspire a lifetime of adventures in the kitchen. Schoolhouse River Forest has been operating since Winter 2017 and Schoolhouse Portage Park opened February 2023 with a big, beautiful kitchen to host family cooking parties and classes as well as adult cooking classes and special events. River Forest Kitchen is an incubator commercial kitchen for over 15 small food businesses. Chefs at RFK can focus on their building their business in a supportive kitchen environment so that they can move on to next steps with confidence and experience.
