ABOUT CHERYL HOVEY

Cheryl Is currently the Early Childhood Education Program Director for Fisher College. Cheryl is also an Early Childhood Consultant/Infant and Toddler Specialist. She has worked in the past for Curry College as Practicum Supervisor, The University of Virginia at the National Center for Research on Early Childhood Education and has worked for the National Center for Children in Poverty, Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health, Research Connections as a Research Description Writer. She was one of the first CDA approved Professional Development Specialists in the State. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wheelock College in Human Development with a concentration in Child and Family Studies and her Master\'s Degree in Birth to Three: Development and Intervention as an Infant and Toddler Specialist. Cheryl holds positions on various organizations in Rhode Island, NH and Connecticut, in the early childhood field, as well as having presented at local, regional and national conferences. Cheryl is dedicated to providing current knowledge, research and theories in early childhood. She is committed to providing high quality education to the early childhood field. She welcomes any suggestions for future trainings.
