ABOUT CHERYL ANN DUNNE

With over 27 years of experience in health and social care, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals with additional needs and empowering staff to grow within the sector. I began as an apprentice support worker and progressed through the roles of senior carer, team leader, deputy manager, and I am now proud to serve as a CQC Registered Manager.Throughout my journey, I’ve worked across a wide range of settings including mental health services, rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injuries, specialist dementia care and EMI units, autism support, adults with learning disabilities, and children with special educational needs (SEN).I am deeply passionate about advocating for the people I support—especially when it comes to accessing healthcare and ensuring they receive the best possible treatment. I believe that everyone deserves high-quality, person-centred care, and I work tirelessly to make sure their voices are heard and their needs are met.My passion lies in making a meaningful difference—supporting people to live their best possible lives, mentoring staff to reach their full potential, and fostering inclusive, supportive environments. I thrive in settings that challenge me and am always looking for ways to improve outcomes for both the people we support and the teams I lead.
