As Assistant HR Director, I serve as a strategic advisor to City leadership, guiding workforce strategies that support more than employees across General Government, Public Utilities, and Public Safety. I lead the 16-member Talent Solutions team, overseeing recruiting and employee relations services.In this role, I provide expert interpretation of the City’s Personnel Rules, represent HR before the Civil Service Board, and mentor HR managers to build leadership capacity across the department. I’ve also championed equity and transparency in hiring through the creation of the City’s Hiring Hub, and directed high-stakes workplace investigations. My focus throughout has been to strengthen HR systems, advance equity, and serve as a trusted partner to executives, elected officials, and employees alike.
