About Cheryl Benjamin
I\'ve spent the past 25 years dedicated to the SNF/LTC industry with a continued passion for the geriatric population. I began as a staff OT and was afforded a number of growth opportunities including Director of Rehab, Area Manager, Clinical Director & National Account Manager. Through these various positions I was intrigued with the reimbursement aspect particularly the MDS RAI process. In 2008 I transitioned from Rehab Operations to Clinical Reimbursement Director overseeing a team of Clinical Reimbursement Managers across 12 states. My experience & knowledge with both Rehab & Clinical Reimbursement provides a unique blend for revenue enhancement opportunities, denials management, Medicare/Regulatory compliance, management of the MDS 3.0, PDPM & EHR/Rehab software applications.
