ABOUT CHERYL BARKINSKIY
My background is in urban planning - both in the public and private sector. I worked with the City of Redondo Beach in their Planning Department for almost two years approving plans, drafting staff reports and zoning regulations, in addition to fielding questions from the public about the City\'s Zoning Code. I also have two years of experience in the environmental planning field, researching information for and drafting CEQA documents. For almost four years, I worked under Eric Garfield as a staff appraiser at Andersen Tax in the Downtown Los Angeles office. There, I appraised all property types (multi-family, office, retail, industrial) except for single family homes. Subsequently, I worked at Integra Realty Resources as a Senior Analyst doing eminent domain work. I was most recently employed at CBIZ in their valuation department appraising multiple property types for various purposes including but not limited to estate tax planning and purchase price allocation, in addition to conducting market rent analyses for retail, professional office, medical offices, industrial and multi-family properties. Currently, I am employed at BBG as a Senior Appraiser continuing my work on appraising a mix of different property types for varying purposes. I have obtained my Certified General Appraiser License (Identification Number: 30•••64).
