Cheryl is a partner and head of personal injury at Bolt Burdon Kemp. Cheryl is a personal injury specialist and has extensive experience of conducting all types of personal injury claims. Cheryl regularly deals with high value and complex cases. She is a skilled litigator and is extremely committed to her work and her clients. She prides herself on being approachable, a good listener and going the extra mile to get the best results possible for her clients. Cheryl’s niche area is cases involving children and particularly children who have suffered brain injuries. She acts on behalf of child clients who have been injured in road traffic accidents, at school, nursery for example as well as children who suffered brain injuries at birth. Cheryl writes and gives comments for the legal press and gives lectures to other solicitors in the area of child brain injury. To compliment her work on behalf of brain injured children, Cheryl works with The Child Brain Injury Trust as well as other relevant organisations including Headway - the brain injury organisation and the local East London branch. After completing her LLB Law Degree, Cheryl took some time out to travel around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, before returning to embark on the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law where she was awarded a Commendation. Cheryl successfully completed her solicitors training with a firm in East London which was well regarded for its personal injury work, particularly for the work that it carried out on behalf of various trade unions. This enabled Cheryl to gain considerable experience in relation to accidents at work cases. Cheryl continued to develop her skills and experience and joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2004.
