About Cherry Ignacio
At the end of my first month as the Product Manager of a Bioinformatics solution, I had an epiphany: I made a bigger impact to science that one month than I ever did working as a Molecular Biologist at the lab bench for a decade. As a Product Manager, I empowered thousands of scientists around the world, including some at multibillion dollar pharmaceutical companies, to analyze their genomics data and obtain insights that powered the development of potential cures for every disease imaginable. Since then, I’ve worked at startups and Fortune 500 conglomerates leveraging advances in Data Science, IoT, AI, Analytics and Computing to solve the most difficult challenges at the intersection of life and technology. Currently, I lead Digital Innovation at Trane\'s Life Science Solutions business, ensuring the safety of pharmaceuticals and environments that impact tens of millions of patients around the world. As a product strategist, leader and change agent for multimillion-dollar product portfolios, I’ve rallied my teams and stakeholders around shared objectives that transform the business and accelerate our impacts in the markets that we serve. Outside of work, I enjoy rowing, spending time with my family and mentoring to underrepresented minorities in tech as well as young women interested in STEM careers. I’m interested in connecting with like-minded individuals.And yes, I did lose to author Kass Morgan on Jeopardy!
