I am responsible for the integrity of domestic and international financial databases, ensuring timely and accurate integration of third party data and managing and communicating corporate actions applied throughout the database. My responsibilities include performing pre-feed and corporate action analysis, feed and database validation, production and post-production quality control. As a part of my job, I must demonstrate financial data expertise and analytical skills necessary to independently interpret terms and conditions of corporate actions and integrate them with other data sets in S&P CapitalIQ databases. I also have to have requires familiarity with global financial markets, as well as market data analysis concepts related to corporate actions, total return, and price fluctuations.I have experience in financial data analysis, pricing data quality assurance and database quality management. I also have experience performing financial data research and knowledge of relational databases.I am also technically proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and have a great deal of experience with SQL.My job also requires me to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to effectively manage relationships with strategic third party data providers and internal S&P clients, as well as support and operational staff, concerning critical activities involving the management of the database.
