My current role covers the full spectrum of the property manager role. I am based in the office and also on-site at the properties I manage. The company I work for manages exclusively new-build properties in the Manchester City Centre/ Salford area. I manage just under 200 properties and for these properties I deal with all matters concerning existing and new tenants from the moment they move into their properties. My main duties include performing pre-let checks at properties before a new tenants moves in, dealing with all maintenance for existing and new tenants, reviewing inventory and check-out reports and negotiating deposit deductions, as well as, potential deposit disputes, processing renewals, carrying out periodic mid-term checks at properties tenanted every 6 months, serving notices, where required to end tenancies based on arrears or the request for possession from landlords and the other office/administration duties required to carry out the above and assist other departments with property related knowledge.
