Manage strategic alliances with Forest Service, other federal and external entities; including customers, senior leaders, executive leaders, and other agencies to ensure effective collaboration, service delivery, and the achievement of our mission goals and objectives.• Responsible for providing Grants and Agreement guidance to all Forest Service staff areas in every Region and Station. Additionally, I am responsible for the training, development, and the management for the Forest Service’s Grant & Agreement Policy staff.• Sustain efforts supporting Acquisition Management business readiness, including training, succession planning, workload management, budget management, human resources management and strategic management.• Create new and innovative grant programs that assist the Forest Service in accomplishing its mission while maintaining federal grant administration standards. • Pioneer the effort for the agency to utilize new grants programs to help the agency achieve its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access objectives.• Serve as the senior official for the Forest Service Cross Deputy project team, and I provide the project team with leadership intent and strategic direction to achieve agency goals and objectives.• Evaluate and report out on Forest Service G&A short- and long-term strategic goals while executing an effective project management and an effective performance management process to facilitate the monitoring and the completion of these goals.• Coordinate and integrate work activities and expectations of the various levels of Service and Departmental management into the work operations and priorities of the Forest Service Grants and Agreements program.
