As the Area General Manager, in April of 1996, the duties were to introduce AmeriCredit Financial Services to the Dayton market with Non-Prime Indirect Automotive financing options handling the signing of dealer agreements with new dealers clients, marketing to earn business, determining credit worthiness of applicants and funding assigned contracts received. As the company grew, and duties were more centralized, we merged into a regional buying center. The new position of Dealer Relationship Manger was then created when the office moved to Kentucky. With this new position there were new responsibilities including: time mangement, team building and management, daily planning, review of territory numbers, research to sign new dealers as well as maintain solid relationships with existing dealer customers and handle any areas of concern that may arise. Growing the territory into the #1 volume area in the Midwest region was the main focus. Building relationships with all managers and employees within the dealer customer was paramount to the success of the territory. The offering of ancillary products, AmeriPlus, to present to dealer clients was rolled out. The goal was to offer and explain the products, sign the dealership up, facilitate training of the products with the finance and office managers and train all dealership employees on the website usage to produce and remit ancillary contracts. Maintaining constant written, verbal and in person communication with the dealers and credit center are always a priority. Team meetings are important to ensure the close working relationship in the territory and to make sure any issues that arise are solved immediately.Several awards have been earned with the company including AmeriPlus Top Producer, Top Dealer Relationship Manager and the Presidents Club Award. Leader in the Midwest territory in volume multiple years and focus on continuing growth in our area.
