I design integrated communications, change and PR strategies that build culture from the inside out, elevate brand and accelerate business growth — always with creativity, curiosity and a sense of fun.SKILLS: Integrated communications, change management, M&A strategy and communications, employee engagement, executive communications, event planning, storytelling campaigns, media relations and PR, content marketing, social media strategy.INDUSTRIES: I currently focus in the health and sciences in a Fortune 500 company, with experience in clinical contract research, R&D and high-powered analytical instruments. I have worked with global corporations, entrepreneurs and nonprofits - from international industrial flow creation companies and real estate developers to furniture designers and British nobility. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Eternally curious, always active! I\'ve had the privilege of presenting and teaching at NC State University, Meredith College, Appalachian State University and William Peace University as well as serving on committees with Wake County Economic Development and the Raleigh Chamber\'s Young Professionals Network. PAST FUN: Prior to joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, I worked with Clairemont Communications, an award-winning PR agency, to craft comprehensive communications strategies. As director of communications for the Alexander Family YMCA—one of the world’s flagship branches—I led integrated marketing, PR and social media campaigns while also supporting fundraising strategy across 13 branches to deliver one of the largest YMCA fundraising campaigns in the nation. Never too far from a pen and paper, I also led the journalist life in North Carolina.FUN FACT? Prior to my career in corporate communications, I sported tap shoes and costumes as a professional actress. Makes for lively meetings!
