PAST FUN: Prior to joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, I worked with Clairemont Communications, an award-winning PR agency, to craft comprehensive communications strategies. As director of communications for the Alexander Family YMCA—one of the world’s flagship branches—I led integrated marketing, PR and social media campaigns while also supporting fundraising strategy across 13 branches to deliver one of the largest YMCA fundraising campaigns in the nation. Never too far from a pen and paper, I also led the journalist life in North Carolina.FUN FACT? Prior to my career in corporate communications, I sported tap shoes and costumes as a professional actress. Makes for lively meetings!
