Hey there, my name is Cherish Dean and I think human connection is the most important thing. In my personal life, in my professional experiences, and in my study of organizations and of people, this is the foundation I always return to. As previously noted in my title, I like to think of myself as a triple-threat minority and a renaissance woman skewed towards the arts, so before we get any further, let\'s briefly unpack that: Renaissance woman in the style of Leonardo Da Vinci, interested in multiple disciplines and constant learning.Triple-threat minority, an analogy drawn from the advantageous basketball position, referring to my intersectional identities as a bisexual and biracial Gen Z woman. To continue, I am a recent grad of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, seeking always to broaden my horizons and always on the lookout for opportunities for growth. I spent my first two years as a psychology major at the University of Michigan-Flint as a tutor at the Writing Center and member of the Honors Program, before transferring to the Ann Arbor campus where I studied the interdisciplinary organizational studies major (psychology + sociology + economics). Also minoring in writing, I have a passion for all things creative, and since my internships with Liberty, I\'ve been incorporating the iterative approach of UX Design and Research into my work philosophy as well!As I stand today, I am considering further study and a career at the intersections of media, culture, education, and storytelling. On the whole, I am currently looking to pursue a career in higher education, or in the media and entertainment industry.And as always, I also believe that breadth of experience can increase the diversity of ideas within an individual, so look out world, I\'m trying to learn everything!
