ABOUT CHERIE BROZ

My Global Mobility experience spans over ten years. I\'ve worked closely with transferees from around the globe and built Aritzia\'s industry-leading Talent Mobility Program and work with the best vendors in the industry. I manage our mobility tax program for relocations and frequent business travellers and work closely with our Legal and Payroll teams on immigration and compensation considerations. If a relocation challenge comes up, either myself or my team have overcome a similar situation before; from helping transferees find a new home in a city they have only visited once (or never since the pandemic!) to understanding the tax implications of moving a wine collection crossborder, or finding out if you can move an exotic pet, I have it covered. Manging these uncommon requests are the key to taking a relocation experience from excellent to outstanding. Before my career in HR/Talent Mobility, I managed corporate meetings and events and worked with the executive team for Corbis a global stock photography company. My claim to fame is that I once prepared a PowerPoint that was presented to Bill Gates.When I’m not working, I’m usually out exploring the best of Vancouver and the Sea To Sky Corridor; some of my passions include food, fashion, getting out in the mountains with my family, and travel.
