ABOUT CJ CONNOR HERBERT
CJ Herbert is a Fulbright Scholar with an MA in Research Methods in Geography from Durham University in the United Kingdom and a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Cincinnati. He is heavily involved in service, leadership, and community engagement programs throughout the Lincoln-Omaha metropolitan area. During the day, he works for the Nebraska Commission on African American Affairs, where he helps develop policy and coordinates activities across sectors to respond to ongoing developments across the Great State of Nebraska.He serves on the boards of Nebraska Young Democrats, BicycLincoln, and Fulbright NOIR which constitutes the youth arm of the Nebraska Democratic Party, promotes bicycle-forward policy in Lincoln. and serves current and alumni Fulbrighters of African descent, respectively. He also serves on the city of Lincoln\'s Pedestrian/Bicyclist Advisory Board, and is a regular volunteer with the Lincoln NAACP, the Lincoln Bike Kitchen, UNL\'s Afrikan People\'s Union, and the Lincoln Tenant Union.
