ABOUT CHENIQUA MORALES

I’ll never forget the look on a nurse’s face after a postpartum hemorrhage occured. She told me, “I’ve been in situations like this before, but because of your simulation drill a few months ago this is the first time I felt like I knew exactly what to do.” That moment reminds me why I do this work—because when clinicians feel confident, supported, and prepared, patients are safer, teams thrive, and lives are saved. As a Perinatal Safety Nurse, Coach/Mentor, Simulationist, and National Speaker, I’ve seen how burnout, bias, and broken systems weigh on healthcare teams. Leaders often feel frustrated when safety initiatives stall. Clinicians feel discouraged when their voices aren’t heard. And patients suffer when preventable harm occurs. These challenges are real—but they are not unsolvable.I help close the gap between where organizations are and where they want to be. My approach goes beyond policies on paper. Through simulation-based learning, coaching, and evidence-driven strategies, I build muscle memory, safer systems, and cultures where equity, teamwork, and accountability drive every decision.Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked at the bedside, in leadership, and in patient safety roles—giving me a 360° perspective on what truly helps healthcare teams succeed. My strategies and implementation methods are proven to deliver measurable results, from improved patient outcomes to stronger staff engagement and system efficiency.Today, I partner with hospitals, health systems, birthing centers, professional organizations, and academic programs to: Improve patient outcomes with standardized, evidence-based practices Reduce staff stress by creating workflows that match real-world careAddress bias in care delivery to promote equity and trustInspire change through training, coaching, and national speaking engagementsIf you’re ready to strengthen your team, improve patient outcomes, and turn strategies into results, let’s connect. c••••••••@gmail.com
