As a Studio Lead, I lead a team of 12 VDC professionals who primarily work with General Contractors as digital construction partners. Our goal is to create and maintain a single source of truth using VDC processes and technologies, translating the virtual build into field-ready deliverables and tools to improve quality and predictability on-site.

   Drive the development and execution of the Studio’s strategy in alignment with overall business goals.• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation within the VDC project lifecycle for the studio’s target segment.• Be an expert on services offered by the studio.• Continuously craft and refine the studio “product” to create unsurpassed value for the client.• Lead studio in achieving OKRs.• Take ownership of profit and loss responsibilities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget to maximize utilization, revenue, and margin.• Provide leadership on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and quality standards.• Utilize a quantitative management system such as PPI and/or Agile to produce deliverables in a predictable manner.• Own the problem-solving and have a “buck stops here” mentality on projects being done by the studio.• Achieve improvement on team metrics for delivering work.• Proactively prevent issues on projects through process compliance and quality/constructability team involvement.• Engage with customers to understand their requirements, co-create solutions alongside the sales team, and build strong relationships.• Act as a point of contact for executive client discussions, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.• Maintain a leadership presence in the studio’s most important projects.• Support team member skill growth and development.• Develop and maintain studio culture.• Train team members on processes for delivering work.• Collaborate with project managers to drive efficiency, creativity, and excellence in project delivery.
