I am a dedicated instructional designer specializing in assessment design and certification programs. My expertise lies in creating assessment content grounded in learning objectives that accurately measures product knowledge and professional competencies.As an active-duty military spouse, I have had the opportunity to adapt my skills across diverse roles within non-profit organizations, federal agencies, government contracting, and enterprise learning environments. My career began as a middle and high school English Language Arts teacher, where I developed strong skills in learner engagement and instructional strategy. That experience continues to shape how I approach instructional design today, particularly when developing structured learning content and certification assessments that measure real-world knowledge and skills.Currently, I focus on certification exam development and assessment strategy within enterprise learning programs. My work sits at the intersection of instructional design, assessment strategy, and program quality. I collaborate closely with subject matter experts to develop exam questions, conduct item analysis, and ensure certification assessments reflect training content, competency expectations, and learning objectives. I am passionate about designing assessments that are instructionally sound and reflect the knowledge and skills professionals are expected to demonstrate.

My work focuses on reviewing and improving assessment content to ensure alignment with learning objectives, content accuracy, and sound assessment practices that support clear and meaningful learner outcomes.I contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of assessments that measure product knowledge and role-based competencies. By reviewing training materials and technical documentation, I help ensure exam content reflects current product functionality and accurately evaluates professional understanding.A key part of my work involves reviewing assessment performance data to inform the continuous refinement of credential and certification exams. This work helps ensure assessments remain reliable indicators of learner comprehension and applied knowledge.Collaboration is an important part of the process. I partner with subject matter experts, instructors, and program stakeholders to review assessment content and support the delivery of credential and certification programs for employees, partners, and customers.
