Hello, I’m Yilin! Data engineer turned product manager (AI/ML) in customs and logistics.By day, I work on data products - talk to me about error logging, time-series, and transactional data! Besides working on backend infrastructure and advanced AI use cases, you\'ll also find me regularly: Talking to customers about their real workflows and pain points (special thanks to my team for supporting my hour-long warehouse tours). Building analytics that deliver reliability + impact, not just pretty charts on dashboards.Beyond work, I help grow my local product community as a founding organiser of Product Tank Stuttgart, bringing product-minded people together to share experiences, learn from one another, and sharpen their craft.Hailing from Singapore and now based in Germany, much of my perspective is shaped by navigating different cultures, systems, and uncertainties, which I enjoy sharing on LinkedIn as well!Right now I\'m building Border Bites – digesting customs, one bite at a time – and over time I’ll go deeper into the data side of things behind it: spotting anomalies, managing risk, and designing analytics to help supply chains run smoother and become more resilient.If you sit somewhere between supply chain × data × product, or you care about how things actually move around the world, I’m always happy to connect!
