The Chemical Engineering Department strives to be a vibrant department, with evolving curricula and programs that caters to industrial, academic and research needs of Nation and be on par with the best Institutes in the world. The activities of the Department transcend classrooms teaching and extend to a greater platform, to conduct research, discovery, technology development, service to industry and entrepreneurship in consonance with the National needs. Last year, there were close to a hundred, ongoing Research and Consultancy Projects in the Department. The work carried out on these projects resulted into publication of more than 200 peer reviewed papers in Internationally Reputed Journals; and more than 35 patent applications. The graduating students are fully equipped with the skill sets required for taking up challenging and demanding professional careers.
