Provides individual and group counseling services to students at the Collegiate Institute for Math and Science (11X288) that are experiencing mental health, behavioral and/or social challenges, including 39 students who have weekly mandated counseling as defined by their Individualized Education Plans (IEP)- Develops and oversees the Social-Emotional Learning Plan including SEL Curriculum implementation, schoolwide SEL assessments and events, staff professional development, parent workshops, as well as multi-tiered interventions- Coordinates additional supports as the liaison for Students in Temporary Housing, Crisis Team, and Respect for All- Advisor to the CIMS Chapter of the National Honor Society which includes managing annual inductions, events and weekly meetings in conjunction with our members since November 2018- Serves as a mentor to students with disabilities that face attendance challenges through the Equity Team- Supports the Postsecondary Readiness team and Graduation Committee, by assisting with senior activities and events.
