As Executive Director of the Eastern Trail Alliance and Eastern Trail Management District, I provided executive leadership, overseeing financial management, strategic planning, program execution, and trail expansion projects to two sister organizations. Reporting to two separate and independent Boards of Directors, I play a critical key role in the administration, maintenance, and growth of southern Maine\'s premier long-distance multi-use greenway.> Manage the organizations\' day-to-day activities and operations and oversee two separate financial operations and budgetary processes.> Lead staff and contractors across finance, administration, marketing, events, and trail stewardship.> Drive the organization’s fundraising efforts, stewarding current donors, cultivating relationships with potential supporters, and making the case for philanthropic support.> Plan and execute large-scale fundraising events, including an annual charity bike ride and 5K, attracting nearly participants and raising critical funds.> Represent the ETA/ETMD on multimillion-dollar active transportation projects, collaborating with municipalities, state and federal agencies, contractors, and private donors to expand the Eastern Trail.> Cultivate and develop the board of directors, facilitating their work and development as engaged leaders, and ensuring that the board can meet its fiduciary responsibilities by providing regular financial reports and engaging the board in the annual budgeting process.
