Northwestern Medicine is a nationally recognized healthcare system with over 5,400 physicians across 11 hospitals and 200 locations in the Chicago area and Northern Illinois. In my three years as a program manager, I\'ve successfully led various complex, system-wide projects collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on behalf of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer- Developed and successfully launched the first system-wide online orientation for all new physicians and APPs, streamlining onboarding and reducing overall administrative burden while ensuring regulatory compliance to mitigate organizational risk- Established standardized clinical workflows for dispensing Narcan kits and initiating buprenorphine treatment across all 11 NM EDs. Designated each ED as a Drug Overdose Prevention Program, increasing access to lifesaving interventions for patients with opioid use disorder- Partnered with senior leaders and clinical experts to implement the first system-wide brain death/death by neurologic criteria policy, protocols, and clinical resources, improving clinical consistency and ensuring compliance across the health system- Created and piloted a physician-to-physician recognition initiative for Doctors’ Day 2024, resulting in one of the year’s top 10 most-read stories in a system-wide newsletter with in readership.
