Manage and oversee GPO’s 100-acre recreation facilities, programs, projects, activities, and internal and external/community events, including logistics, budget, risk mitigation, user experience, quality control, reservations, communications, and project management; Develop and implement long-term goals and operational procedures• Recommend and support GPO campus leadership and stakeholders in developing and implementing programs, strategic plans, and initiatives that enhance the credit union’s corporate and community reputation• Collaborate with applicable local organizations and agencies to organize, coordinate, and schedule events, and usage of the facility with events such as youth and adult sports, recreation leagues, and general public to promote use of the facility• Develop and manage the center\'s annual budget, including monitoring and forecasting expenses. Manage financial transactions relating to the facility, including deposits and possible complaints or disputes relating to deposits• Work with HR and business units to support internal leagues, tournaments, events, etc. to create “moments that matter” for teams and team members• Partner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to management• Responsible for facilities management and evaluation of maintenance and associated records and reports of the Recreation Center through collaboration with GPO Facility Management supervisors, contractors, and other stakeholders• Manage and act as subject matter expert for the Recreation Center and the reservation system; Provide updates on Recreation Center operations and functions by way of social media, news media and reservation system platform• Continually identify areas of improvement, determine solutions, and implement strategies and enhancement to improve the overall operational efficiency of the facility
