As a tenured Associate Professor, I’m passionate about sharing anti‑fraud knowledge and helping others build strong investigative skills to make a real difference in the field. I hold a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential, and a Private Investigator license in NY State. I’m an active author, editor, and researcher, with four books and many chapters and articles published on topics related to fraud and investigation. I’m honored to have been named a ‘Top PI’ by PI Magazine and recognized as a distinguished faculty member by St. John’s University.I’ve been featured as an expert commentator and consultant in a wide range of media outlets, including CBS Channel 2 News and Fox 5 News in NYC, A&E, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Bloomberg News, Forbes, NBC News MACH, Oxygen/Crime TV, CNET, Investor’s Business Daily, and BuzzFeed News.I’m eager to support and connect with others in our field. At the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), I’ve served as Chair of the Chapter Leaders Committee and as President of the New York Chapter. I also served as Director of the Center for Private Security and Safety at John Jay College.
