About Chelsea Biggs

I am a nonprofit Program Director that\'s spent the start of my career helping communities thrive by supporting the youth and human services fields. My background is in program and curriculum development, training/professional development, capacity building, and system integration. More recently, I\'ve pivoted to more upstream community develoment by working in the economic development space. I currently lead programs and engagement for startups in a physical product manufacturing innovation center, working to lift up and rebuild Chicago and the Midwest as leaders in the 4th Industrial Revolution. I believe clear, direct communication is the key to effective leadership. I am an energized leader who enjoys supporting the growth of staff. I have a strong grasp on the big picture with an interest in the day to day operations. I have proven experience in developing curriculum and growing programming with use of strategic planning, goals, and objectives.
