About Chelsea Fleming

I am a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based in the community of Carlsbad, CA. With a career spanning five years in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I am wholeheartedly committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families affected by autism and other intellectual disabilities.I obtained a Master\'s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2021 from Vanguard University and later completed the course work necessary to apply for my BCBA certification in 2023 at the University of California Santa Barbara. My blend of academic background allows me, as well as motivates me to explore and appreciate the intersectionalities that exist between behavior analysis and practices relevant to organizational psychology. As a BCBA, I have the privilege of leading a dynamic team of behavior interventionists who collaborate with me to bring behavior programs to life for our clients. Ensuring treatment integrity is a key aspect of my role, and I take pride in supervising and guiding my team to deliver the highest quality of care for our clients. I work to develop my understanding of the behavior interventionists I work with to deliver supervision that will be most effective for their learning styles and needs.I find fulfillment in working with families of diverse backgrounds, and draw on my Mexican-American heritage to connect with and serve Spanish-speaking families. I believe that this cultural connection and sensitivity enhances the effectiveness of our interventions and creates a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone involved. Before obtaining my BCBA certification, I was lucky to obtain numerous opportunities to build my clinical skills. As a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner (QASP), I successfully managed and supported cases alongside a BCBA, laying the groundwork for my journey to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
