About Chelsea Claridge

I am a creative director and fashion designer with 15+ years of experience in the RTW and luxury space. I have an intuitive understanding of tailoring, sustainability, concept development and functional design. I take a holistic approach to design, much like an architect would when designing a structure; considering both the functionality and materials used is as important as the design itself. In 2019 I cofounded and launched CAALO, a luxury brand built on craftsmanship, sustainability, longevity, and innovation. CAALO has received international praise from the likes of Forbes, WWD, InStyle, Elle, Marie Claire and Lisa Aiken of Vogue, as well as celebrities and international buyers alike. In 2021 CAALO was chosen as one of WGSN’s Future Designers, and named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s favorite sustainable brands. As a designer I have a deep love for thoughtful design, tailoring and innovation. My extensive experience in a multitude of areas, ranging from RTW, denim, outerwear, and washed product, to knits, swimwear and athletic apparel, has allowed me to develop an unparalleled understanding for what makes a truly world-class brand and product.
