About Rebecca Guralnick
Trained as a civil litigator (LLB, McGill) with experience in corporate commercial law, I ultimately followed my passion for food and wellness by earning my culinary degree and founding Cooking from the Heart LLC. Through this venture, for many years, I provided personal chef services, private and group cooking classes, and corporate culinary team-building experiences.In 2019, I furthered my expertise by earning a Certification in Culinary Nutrition from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition (Toronto), deepening my knowledge in food-as-medicine, therapeutic nutrition, and the intersection of diet and disease prevention.Alongside my professional work, I’ve remained deeply involved in the non-profit sector. As a now semi-retired chef, I currently serve as a Board Member at the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. I also serve on the Board of Directors at Outpost Natural Foods Co-op—a $50M+ cooperative grocery chain in Milwaukee—where I’m proud to hold the position of Vice President.With a background spanning law, entrepreneurship, culinary wellness, and board governance, I bring a unique and multidimensional perspective to every table I join—whether in business, community leadership, or the kitchen.
