ABOUT SANIA NAQVI
After my initial education in Allahabad, I moved to Manipal for a bachelor\'s in culinary arts from Welcom Group School of Hotel Administration. From here, I was selected by the ITC Hotels during the campus interviews where I worked in the Luxury Collection Hotels across India. During my tenure with ITC Hotels, I worked in Multi-cuisine restaurants. My interest however remained in Indian cuisine and hosted festivals celebrating regional cuisines of India. My fascination for ingredients and sensibilities guided me towards more conscious cooking, which prompted me to start my own venture called Seeking Roots, a platform from where I could reach out to people creating an awareness of local, seasonal, and clean eating. I was the winner of HT City 30 under 30, 2022 in the Hospitality category. I love to travel and am enamored with the local stories which beautifully reflect diversity in culture, cuisine, heritage, and a sense of belongingness. I also like to write and some of it has been published on topics related to Millets and conscious eating.
