ABOUT LIAM ROMANIS

Liam has gained a wealth of experience in IT Security and Penetration Testing over the last 26 years. He was also a Check Team Leader since the scheme began in (cert 006). He was thought to be one of the longest serving Check Team Leaders in the scheme and has most recently passed the TigerScheme SST Infrastructure Exam in January 2021. Liam has trained a large number of consultants in penetration testing methodologies. Liam has managed a number of small to medium sized teams and has led a large number of penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. Liam has also performed a number of incident response tasks to help companies triage their systems to remove malware infections such as TeslaCrypt and CryptoLocker. Liam always tries to provide the client with value for money whilst remaining within the scope and allotted timescales. He also believes that the value derived by clients comes from the report, post task consultancy and support. Liam also qualified as a PRINCE2 Practitioner and has project managed a number of large penetration testing engagements using PRINCE2 principles where relevant.
