I got pregnant entering my sophomore year of College and it took me almost 9 - years and countless major changes to finish my undergraduate degree in business management; I continued through to become an IO Psychologist and later a Lean Six Signa Green Belt.I’m #employed!I’ve made $6/hr,$9.50/hr,$13 -$15/hr for a LONG time as a parent of TWO small kids.I worked in fast food, as a gas station attendant, as a retail person selling men’s suits, in a mailroom at a law firm, as a rapid transit operator, as a personal and administrative assistant and as a leader in the career development space.I’m an #entrepreneur!In 2016, I started CHBM Services LLC as a sole proprietorship, writing affordable resumes and cover letters for black and brown individuals; today, we are an LLC that bridges the gaps between the understanding of and solving problems for professionals in the workplace. We build five and six figure career and workforce development resources for not for profits and small - midsize corporations while providing tools to their invidual employees.I’m a 501c3 #founder!In 2019, I founded a not for profit that provides career and workforce development resources to single parents ages 18-40; to date, we’ve supported 8,007 individuals across virtual and in person events.Specific Summary - I collaborate with business leaders and shared service partners to deliver enterprise and custom solutions for various workforce needs. I leverage my Lean Six Sigma certification and my IO Psychology background to design, implement, and evaluate programs that improve performance, engagement, and retention. My passion is to bridge the gap between the understanding of and solving problems for professionals in the workforce. I have worked across different customer service-oriented industries, such as real estate, transportation, and utilities, and have developed a unique perspective and skill set to address diverse and complex challenges. I am also committed to advancing the representation and inclusion of BIPOC in the IO Psychology field, as I am part of the 5% of the total IO population.
