About Christopher H. Bennett

Christopher completed his undergraduate B.Sc./ co-terminal M.Sc at Stanford University in systems sciences (2010/2011). He co-founded and worked at a software company in San Francisco, Ohm Labs, which developed music streaming technology, before turning his attention to computer architecture interests in graduate school. He followed the EMM-Nanoscience and Nanotechnology degree (20••••14) co-hosted by KU Leuven/IMEC and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, and 20••••18, the PhD degree in Applied Physics & Electrical Engineering, at Uni. Paris-Sud /Univ. Paris-Saclay, Paris, France, within the group Centre de Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (C2N). Research topic : bio-inspired circuit design using novel emerging memories, in particular, a new type of polymeric non-volatile memory ((NVM) device.Presently, he continues work research work as a fellow at Sandia Labs, Albuquerque, NM, where his primary research activities concern the use of non-volatile memory devices, such as spintronic and ReRAM devices, within next generation edge computing systems using bio-inspired algorithms.
