My practice spans criminal defense, estate planning, business counsel, personal injury, entertainment law, and nonprofit compliance.My legal expertise spans more than 15 years, encompassing a decade of representing clients in litigation. My experience extends to assisting businesses with formation, drafting contracts, leases, NDAs, and addressing other business matters. My academic stint as an adjunct professor allowed me to instruct on critical thinking and legal writing for approximately five years. In addition, I spent around five years in the banking sector, working closely with anti-money laundering laws and regulations. My portfolio also includes working with a leading clinical research organization, where I negotiated contracts and budgets for pharmaceutical studies.Charitable activities related to scholarship and education hold a special place in my heart. I\'ve had the privilege of helping several non-profits establish their foundations, and I deeply value the opportunity to mentor law students and new attorneys, offering them insights and advice as they embark on their legal journey.Outside the legal arena, I\'m an ardent supporter of local sports teams in Charlotte and at my alma mater, the University of North Carolina. Leisure time often finds me on my family\'s farm, tending to the land and our cattle. Reading and continuous learning are pursuits I treasure, ensuring I am always broadening my knowledge horizon.
