ABOUT CHATHURIKA MULLEGAMA
I am a tax professional with a keen interest in international tax matters, working in a full-time tax role in Berlin, Germany. As for my previous work experience, I have 3 years of auditing and 3 years of corporate banking in addition to more than a decade of experience in direct and indirect taxation in Sri Lanka. Working at PwC and KPMG Tax have enabled me to acquire fine skills in corporate taxation with a global exposure. My experience in the field spans over many industries including manufacturing, service, banking and financial services, logistics and telecommunication. I enjoy providing tax advisory services and take a special interest in analysing cross border transactions. Have worked closely with the senior management in clarifying direct and indirect tax matters and have worked with highly competent tax professionals in opting for best tax saving solutions for the Corporates.Interestingly, I am also passionate about broadening my vocabulary in English language.
