ABOUT ANIRBAN CHATTERJEE

With a diverse upbringing across India, Switzerland, and the Philippines, I bring a global perspective to my work. I hold a BA from McGill University in Canada and an MSc in Finance from ESADE in Spain. My professional journey spans roles in a commercial real estate services & investment firm, a health & economics research centre, a life insurance company, and a multinational bank. These experiences across three continents have enriched my outlook and aspirations. Currently, I am employed at BDC, a federal Crown Corporation and national development bank owned by the Government of Canada. In this role, I leverage my business acumen, analytical and interpersonal skills, and commercial lending experience to support Canadian businesses through financing, advisory services, and capital. My core competencies include building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, underwriting proposals, and staying updated on policy, procedure, process, and trend changes. Outside of work, I enjoy writing blog posts, volunteering for social causes, travelling, skiing, playing tennis, and attending live sporting events.
