I’ve always believed that music has the power to connect people across cultures and backgrounds. My journey through the music industry has been fueled by this passion for creativity and collaboration. Currently, I’m diving deep into the world of billing at Universal Music Group, where I get to blend my love for music with my knack for finance. It’s exciting to be part of a team that plays a crucial role in supporting artists and their work.Before UMG, I had the opportunity to lead outreach efforts at Songfluencer in Nashville. There, I connected with hundreds of niche creators weekly for music promotions—an experience that taught me the importance of building relationships within our vibrant community. I also contributed to marketing campaigns for major labels like Sony and Warner Music Group while sourcing international influencers for our platform.During my time as a synch licensing intern at BMG in Los Angeles, I reviewed over expired quotes which helped secure more than $120K in revenue for songwriters. Each project reinforced my belief that every detail matters when it comes to supporting artists\' success. My background also includes managing events as a choir manager at UIC—where I coordinated eight events while guiding 81 student volunteers—showing my commitment to fostering talent.Living in Tokyo while studying music business opened my eyes to different cultural perspectives on the industry.
