I am a passionate Special Education Teacher and Instructional Leader based on the West Side of Chicago, where I have dedicated my career to transforming urban education through innovation, equity, and empowerment. With over a decade of experience in special education and multilingual learning, I specialize in creating inclusive learning environments where all students, particularly those with IEPs and language needs, can thrive.My work extends beyond the classroom. I serve as a mentor, instructional coach, and leader on schoolwide teams focused on climate and culture, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and professional development. I have contributed to securing major grants, including CPS Tiers SEL funding, and built strategic partnerships with museums, nonprofits, and technology-forward organizations to expand learning opportunities for both students and staff.Through workshops, fellowships, and district-level initiatives, I advocate for culturally responsive teaching, technology-integrated instruction, and personalized learning strategies that engage and elevate diverse learners.
